Jason gained over 10 years’ experience on the shop floor before being promoted to Management. After more than 10 years at Management level he successfully negotiated a management buy-out and has owned the company with his wife Andrea since December 2007.

Andrea Callow – Financial Director

Andrea has been with Dipec since 2007 and now deals with the company accounts, payroll, Health & Safety and advertising. This family run business has a strong culture of retaining our staff as almost all our staff have over 20 years + service with the company.

Luke McCarthy – Production Manager

Luke started at Dipec in 1983 and had previously gained skills in printing and platen press operations. Having now gained over 20 years of experience in the plastic industry he is a highly experienced CNC programmer and operator and also manages production and productivity.

Diamond, Flame & Mop Polishing

Diamond Polishing is a machined polish finish and is the cheapest way to edge finish acrylic.
Flame Polishing is a fast and cost effective way which ensures a good polished finish with a hand safe edge.
Mop Polishing is used to give a very high standard, hand finished result to a finished product.

Line Bending (Hot Wire Bending)

Line bending uses a hot wire heating element to achieve large or small radius bends where required such as a return on a leaflet dispenser.

Oven Moulding (Thermoforming)

The oven is used to heat various plastics up to a maximum temperature of 250°C with the capacity to mould panels up to 2.2m x 1.0m in size. The heated panel is then drape moulded onto a former.

Drilling

Welding

We have the facility to plastic weld Polyethylene, Polypropylene, Polyurethan, Polycarbonate and PVC.

Cementing & Gluing

There are various glues available for cementing plastic part together. At Dipec we use Dichloromethane, Extrufix, Tensol 12 and Tensol 70 Two Part Acrylic cement.

Manual Routering

This process is used when a cheap and easy method is required for achieving radius corners on acrylic panels.
